Devonport House, Greenwich, London SE10
|
Devonport House is a 7,000 sq m Grade II listed building in part of a World Heritage Site which includes the Old Royal Naval College, National Maritime Museum and Greenwich Park. The University of Greenwich and the Secretary of State for Defence set exacting standards for this regeneration development and in 2000 planning consent was secured for the first new-build development within a World Heritage site for 100 years. This unique £30m Public Private Partnership (PPP) project is a self-financing development of high quality student accommodation together with a state-of–the-art conference hotel which is currently managed and operated by De Vere Venues (www.deverevenues.co.uk). “I have been delighted to see Mount Anvil working again in partnership in Greenwich with the University and with Hyde Housing to transform Devonport House.” University of Greenwich |
