Killian Hurley , BCom, FCA - Chief Executive
EmailKillian, the co-founder and majority shareholder of Mount Anvil, has worked in the London property market since 1988. Killian is a multi-disciplined professional with expertise across development, finance, legal and marketing with a strong focus on building effective teams. Passion, hard work and a very demanding approach centred around the development of people are key aspects of Killian's business style. These attributes have enabled him to develop an exceptional team of people and to provide the platform for the controlled profitable growth of the business in an entrepreneurial fashion. He has particular experience in the collaborative delivery of joint venture solutions to complex property transactions and of ensuring risks are properly identified and priced appropriately. Killian qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Price Waterhouse in 1983.

Peter Burslem , BSc (Hons) - Operations Director
EmailPeter joined Mount Anvil in 2002 and his relentless drive for excellence has positioned Mount Anvil at the forefront of construction delivery in the London market. He has an uncompromising approach to health and safety, quality and timely delivery. Peter previously held senior construction positions at Morgan Sindall.

David Clark , BA (Hons), ACA - Group Finance Director
EmailDavid joined Mount Anvil in June 2008 from a listed company background gained at Jacques Vert plc where he served as Finance Director in their retail business for four years and Walker Greenbank plc where he was Group Finance Director. David has delivered a systematic approach to financial management whilst at Mount Anvil with a clear focus on robust cash management and strong financial controls. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant with KPMG in 1994.

Jon Spring , BSc (Hons), MRICS - Land Director
EmailJon joined Mount Anvil in 2005 and has helped Mount Anvil become one of the most successful land buying companies in London. His determination and strong interpersonal skills combined with his professionalism have made a significant contribution to Mount Anvil's reputation. Jon previously worked for Berkeley Homes and David Wilson Homes in senior land roles.

Damian Seddon - Commercial Director
EmailDamian joined Mount Anvil in October 2009 and has over 20 years' experience in the development industry having held senior director roles in the Stewart Milne Group, Bovis and Redrow. Damian was specifically recruited to facilitate the growth of the business and will focus on delivering best value for the lowest build price. His leadership qualities centre around innovation, team motivation and the collective desire to succeed.

Andrew Reid , BA (Hons) Dip Arch, RIBA - Design and Planning Director
EmailAndrew, a chartered architect, joined Mount Anvil in July 2006 and has an outstanding track record of achieving planning permissons both at officer level and at public appeal. He has also been successfully involved at the front end in optimising schemes through innovative design and attention to detail. Andrew previously worked for Crest Nicholson and Bovis Homes in senior design and planning roles and has extensive knowledge of sustainable development technologies.

Brian has a clear understanding of customer needs and effectively communicates them to the team in a structured manner, ensuring maximum value from Mount Anvil's developments.

Brian Chambers , Dip Surv (QS), MRICS - Pre Contract Director
EmailBrian has over 30 years experience of surveying and estimating on a variety of projects and using the full spectrum of contracts. He qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in 1987. His enthusiasm, experience, drive and commitment are invaluable in the management of commercial risks for Mount Anvil. Brian’s experience includes education facilities, student accommodation, commercial development as well as all types of residential development.

Cathryn Francis - Business Support Manager
EmailCathryn joined Mount Anvil in May 2006 and as Business Support Manager she works alongside the leadership team to ensure Mount Anvil delivers on the full potential of the business. She has a broad range of experience of promoting and leading change management across a variety of dynamic and fast growing business sectors, having spent the 10 years prior to joining Mount Anvil working in the advanced telecommunications industry. At Mount Anvil, Cathryn is actively involved in the design and delivery of staff initiatives including leadership and personal development, employee engagement and welfare. She played a key role in the implementation of our recent leadership development programme, REACH.

Nigel Green - Construction Director
EmailNigel joined Mount Anvil in September 2006. Nigel has built up a wealth of construction experience within education, hotels industrial, retail and residential sectors over the past 30 years. He is used to delivering projects to the highest standards of health and safety, quality, programme and budget, and always achieves client satisfaction. Nigel successfully managed the £30m refurbishment of the Park Lane and Kensington Hilton Hotels and a luxury multi-million pound residential development in the City of London. He previously held senior delivery positions in Bluestone, Mowlem and Willmott Dixon.
