A record 28,500 people embarked on this years London to Brighton cycle ride and the Mount Anvil team were out in force. 19 men and women from various parts of the business joined together in this years ride, raising over £26,000 for charity.
With balmy weather and despite the delay caused by one team member leaving their helmet on the van bound for Brighton, the team eventually got underway. There was plenty of action with minor collisions and most notably the star of the event, Lisa Tanner, who claimed to have not ridden a bike until seven days before the event, ascending Ditchling Beacon without breaking a sweat.
Mount Anvil donated £500 for each rider giving a total of £9,500 to the money raised.
