The National Federation of Bakers chose the site to film celebrity chef Antony Worrall Thompson celebrating 50 years of white sliced bread - by serving fresh bacon butties from the on-site canteen to Mount Anvil's hungry builders. Despite an early 7.30 am start and unpredictable weather, the Mount Anvil team and TV crew had a fantastic time posing and enjoying the ultimate builder's breakfast.
This is not the first time that Central Square has been in the TV spotlight. Earlier this year, the development site had its big break when Kit Kat were looking for a site with the highest concentration of tower cranes to film its latest ad campaign. Central Square won, with four tower cranes in total. The TV ad, currently showing, was shot on site and stars cranes, crane driver and Kit Kat.
