Employee Rewarded For Exceptional Homes at Central Square

One of Mount Anvil's employees has been recognised for exemplary commitment to building new homes of outstanding quality at the regional final of the industry's most prestigious awards scheme held at Brighton in September 2011.

Project Manager Nyron Higgins won the South East NHBC Pride in the Job Award and the Seal of Excellence Award, both run by NHBC (National House-Building Council), for work at Mount Anvil's Central Square development in fashionable Clerkenwell, EC1.  Nyron beat a shortlist of exceptionally skilled site managers to take the south east title in the multi-storey category.

Pride in the Job is the only awards scheme to reward site managers for the unique contribution they make to the housebuilding process, being responsible for delivering high quality homes by directing projects from start to finish.

Steve Catt, NHBC Regional Director, said:  "Pride in the Job has been instrumental in raising the build quality of new homes in the UK for over three decades, with housebuilders now routinely striving for perfection in their work.  A Pride in the Job award at any level marks the recipient out as a top performer, showing their true diligence and commitment to producing the best qualitiy homes possible, but to win a Regional title demonstrates something just that little bit special."
