Each year, Mount Anvil donates 1% of profit to good causes. As part of our programme of charitable giving, we have committed more than £100,000 to the project in our largest single donation to date - a sign of our commitment to London’s communities.
Killian Hurley, Chief Executive, Mount Anvil, said: “Mount Anvil has been developing homes and communities in London for 24 years, and our approach is centred around our core values to work collaboratively, raise the bar, and do the right thing – by our people, customers and our communities.
London is the world-class city and we’ve been fortunate enough to both play a part in and benefit from its success. London will only retain its status if everyone is able to share in its prosperity, not just the few.
We are therefore delighted to be supporting this fantastic initiative and, hopefully, helping to make some difference to the lives of Londoners.”
As well as the Evening Standard, we will also be working with global brands, Citi Bank and Linklaters, and the UK government. Our collective donations will form a pot of £1.2 million from which community-led organisations will be able to bid to fund projects which help rejuvenate their estates and provide opportunities for residents.
