Mount Anvil’s recently sold-out development, The Orchard, received a Gold award for Best Interior Design at the What House? Awards 2013.

Commenting on the design, the judges praised The Orchard for being a “cut above, offering the edgy, contemporary look so beloved of both the project’s location and its target market.”

The Orchard is based in the heart of Clerkenwell and sold out in September 2013, just three months after launching.

Killian Hurley, Executive Chairman, said: “We’re delighted with the award. It’s a great recognition of the high-quality, design-led approach that Mount Anvil takes on our schemes.”

Helen Fewster, Designer and Co-Director of Suna Interior Design who worked on The Orchard said: “We loved working with Mount Anvil on The Orchard. The brief was clear: make The Orchard unique, and that is exactly what we did. As a design company we pride ourselves in offering a bespoke service to our clients. It’s great to see that recognised.”

Mount Anvil also received a Silver award in the Best Medium Housebuilder category and a Bronze award in the Best House category for its development, The Loxfords, in Highbury Park.
