We’re continuing to make great progress on site here at Keybridge. Demolition work is ongoing at basement level, and we’ve cleared a large part of the existing basement structure ready for inspection and any necessary remedial work.
We’ve also removed a wall separating some of the scheme’s commercial units, and we are clearing structures and screed from the area that made up the site’s former entrance.
Work is ongoing to the 37-storey Keybridge Lofts building. The reinforced concrete frame that the block will be built around is now complete, and its secondary steel frame is built up to level 36-37.
We’re building partition walls throughout this block – those walls are currently complete up to level 33. Plastering of those partitions is complete to level 29, painting to level 18, and kitchens are installed up to level 24 as scheduled. The residents’ pool area is also progressing well, with the basic structural work due for completion this month.
Elsewhere we’ve continued to welcome Keybridge residents to their new homes. Over 400 residents are now living here, across more than 250 apartments. The scheme’s carpark is also now complete and in use by those residents.
Awards recognition for Mount Anvil & Keybridge
Mount Anvil and Keybridge have recently received highly sought-after national awards. Our gold standard in health and safety was recognised by The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) recently, as Mount Anvil was awarded Gold for Occupational Health and Safety for the fifth consecutive year in a row.
This summer Keybridge Project Director John Hoban received a prestigious Pride in the Job award by the National House Building Council (NHBC). These awards have been running for more than 35 years, and recognise the industry’s very best performers. Judges look for quality of workmanship, technical expertise and meticulous attention to detail – we’re very proud of John and the homes he’s helping to create at Keybridge.
