The Five Star Occupational Health & Safety Audit is a detailed evaluation of an organisation’s Health & Safety management systems carried out by the British Safety Council. We received five stars, with the highest score ever issued of 99.97%. It is the third consecutive year in which we have continued to raise the bar, scoring 99.93% in 2015 and 99.78% in 2014, and highlights our continued commitment to ensuring the safety and wellbeing of our people and subcontractors in the workplace.
The audit allows organisations from all sectors to benchmark their Health & Safety cultures against a worldwide best practice standard, to celebrate their achievements in this area and to strive for constant improvement. In recent years, the British Safety Council has placed greater emphasis on an organisation’s approach to occupational health, employee wellbeing, safety culture, allocation of resources and more. We are thrilled that our hard work and commitment to raising the bar for Health & Safety in construction has been recognised in such a thorough evaluation.
