We are thrilled to announce the appointment of Hilary Wells as our first People Director.
Hilary joins from international luxury brand, Berry Bros. & Rudd Ltd, a family-owned business dating back to 1698 with a turnover of more than £200 million, where she led the transformation of the company’s approach to HR, the formation of three new businesses in Asia, and supported the succession planning for the family shareholding team.
Killian Hurley, Chief Executive, Mount Anvil, said: “I am delighted to welcome Hilary to Mount Anvil. Having grown ten-fold in ten years, from a turnover in 2004 of £24 million to a profit of £20 million and turnover of £216 million in 2014, Hilary’s appointment is a further sign of our ambition to be Central London’s most respected residential-led developer.”
Hilary Wells, People Director, Mount Anvil, said: “I'm thrilled to be joining a company that has, for ten consecutive years, been named as one of the Sunday Times’ 100 Best Companies to Work For and still has a relentless desire to raise the bar further. I've watched Mount Anvil with interest over the last few years and am excited about getting stuck in, helping to find, keep and grow outstanding people who fit with our values and goals.
Prior to Berry Bros. & Rudd Ltd, Hilary led the HR function for the UK Commercial division of R. Twining & Co, part of the FTSE 100 listed ABF Group. She has also run her own business providing high-end contemporary lifestyle photography through private commissions.
