For the second year running, Mount Anvil was last night named as Developer of the Year (less than 1,000 units) at the prestigious Property Week 2014 RESI Awards.
The award recognises Mount Anvil’s design-focus and commitment to working with internationally acclaimed architects such as Sir Terry Farrell, SOM, Ian Simpson Architects and Scott Brownrigg. The resulting positive legacy is demonstrated at developments such as The Eagle (EC1), The Filaments (SW18), Lexicon (EC1), and Dollar Bay (E14).
Commending Mount Anvil for “creating high quality and very profitable schemes”, the judges also acknowledged the significant year of growth for the company including the £200 million partnership agreed with Ares Management, record profits, and a £1 billion development pipeline of 2,500 new London homes.
Killian Hurley, Chief Executive, Mount Anvil, said: “To win Developer of the Year for two years running is a fantastic achievement. It’s testament to all the amazing people at Mount Anvil and our unrelenting drive to deliver excellence.”
The judges at the Property Week RESI Awards 2014, said: “Mount Anvil took the judges plaudits for the second year in a row creating high quality and very profitable schemes, and all against a backdrop of wider corporate issues which saw it secure long-term backing to continue to expand.”
As well as being named Developer of the Year, Mount Anvil has recently been awarded the 5 star rating from the British Safety Council for its continued demonstration of a world-class health and safety approach and was, for the eight consecutive year, named as one of the Sunday Times Best 100 Small Companies To Work For.
