International real estate fund manager Area Property Partners has made an initial £25 million structured investment in Mount Anvil to support the company's plans to secure mid to upper market residential schemes in quality locations

International real estate fund manager Area Property Partners has made an initial £25 million structured investment in Mount Anvil to support the company's plans to secure mid to upper market residential schemes in quality locations, commanding values of £700 - £850 per sq ft.

Killian Hurley, Mount Anvil's chief executive, said:  "After considering a number of options, we were delighted to agree a deal with Area as we have shared values and amibitions.  Their investment will enable us to expand our activities in inner London and the City, securing developments in sought after residential locations where people want to live  -  such as our Barnsbury Place development in Islington and our Clerkenwell scheme at Central Street, EC1.  We are looking forward to a long-term relationship with Area and we hope that there will be opportunities for further investment with them as we seek to become one of London's leading niche developers.
