Putting people first. Mount Anvil wins a Mind Workplace Wellbeing Award

We’re proud to have been awarded Bronze at Mind’s Workplace Wellbeing Index Awards. The award recognises our commitment to supporting the health and wellbeing of our employees through initiatives such as our Phone Home booths, Money Doctor workshops and Wellness Action Plans. Read more below.

Every employer depends on having healthy and productive employees – valued and supported staff are far more likely to perform better and achieve peak performance. Mind is a dedicated mental health charity whose mission is to make sure no one has to face a mental health problem alone. Their Workplace Wellbeing Index is a benchmark of best practice and celebrates the work employers like Mount Anvil are doing to promote and support positive mental health.

Mind looked at our initiatives, policies and surveyed employees to see what they thought and awarded us ‘Bronze’ last night – a fantastic achievement for our first participation in this initiative. The Mind judges commented: “Your organisation has started the journey to better mental health at work by developing and implementing initiatives which promote positive mental health for staff.”

Some of the initiatives we offer our employees:

  • Phone Home service providing on-site teams with WiFi-enabled booths and iPads to video call their families when they need to.
  • Money Doctor workshops support the mental health of our employees by helping them manage their finances better.
  • Wellness Action Plans – to better support those with mental health issues.
  • Vitality healthcare and Fitbits for every employee – free private health care and 50% off gym memberships to keep them healthy inside and out.


We look forward to continue working with Mind and have several new initiatives in the pipeline including a Mount Anvil Mental Health Committee and mental health first aid training.
