In 2014, the British Safety Council recognised Mount Anvil as the UK’s Number 1 company for health and safety across all sectors, awarding us a Five Star rating and an audit score of 99.78% - the highest ever issued in their 57 year history. Our building sites were judged as safer than most offices, and we had set ourselves a bar.
Following this year's audit, we are delighted to announce that we have raised that bar again. Not only have we retained our Five Star rating, but we have been given an audit score of 99.93% - the new highest ever awarded by the British Safety Council.
Our position is further strengthened by several other recent decorations, including the prestigious Sword of Honour for global safety excellence, and a RoSPA Gold Award.
We were also asked by regulator, the Health and Safety Executive, to work with them on a video case study telling the story of how we deliver health and safety excellence.
Creating work environments in which people feel safe, secure, and able to work to the best of their ability is absolutely pivotal to creating our beautiful, award-winning homes, and one of the key reasons why we are also celebrating a ninth consecutive year as one of the Sunday Times 100 Best Small Companies to Work For.
