Central London developer Mount Anvil has received a special award for 'Best Innovation in Engagement Practice' from the Sunday Times 100 Best Small Companies to Work For.

Central London developer Mount Anvil has received a special award for 'Best Innovation in Engagement Practice' from the Sunday Times 100 Best Small Companies to Work For, a list which they have been ranked in for the 6th consecutive year. Dan Morgan and Peter Burslem, both with ten years' service, received the 100 Best Small Companies list plaque on behalf of Mount Anvil.

With an increase in pre-tax profits of 90% in 2010, Mount Anvil is the only property developer to be included in this year's list.  It has in place a generous share incentive plan (SIP), long service rewards and gives "family milestone" gifts.  Its innovative companywide workshops have won it this year's special award and it generously gives 1% of profits to good causes.   The business, led by chief executive and co-founder Killian Hurley, has at its core the desire and will to consistently deliver excellence and with 94% of his staff having great faith in him, he is fully equipped to continue on this path.

When asked about the firm's success, Killian Hurley, chief executive of Mount Anvil, said:  "I'd rather you asked one of our people!"  So, we did exacty that and this is what Sam Roberts, Trainee Design & Build Coordinator, had to say:  "A few years ago I identified Mount Anvil from the 100 Best Small Companies list and made it my mission to work for them.  Not only have they ensured my personal growth and development, but I truly believe that everyone in the business is giving their best and this translates into a general good feeling, hard work ethic and ultimately happy customers."
